2012 Program For Maine Students

The Program for Maine Students is a chamber music program for Maine advanced-intermediate and advanced string and piano students which includes a late spring week (June 18 - 23) on the Kneisel Hall campus.

 

June 18 - 23, 2012

Held on the Kneisel campus, this program has two parts: a one-day, June 20th session for string and piano students 9-12 years of age of intermediate ability and a five-day session, June 20- 25, for string and piano students 12 - 19 years of age of advanced ability. Both programs feature Kneisel Hall young artists as mentors, faculty coaching and a final participant program. The five day session includes master classes, piano 4-hands, mentor performances, sight-singing and eurhythmics.

  • Program is for: Maine string players and pianists 9-12 years of age, intermediate playing and reading.
  • Application fee: $25
  • Program fee: $35
  • Total money due Kneisel Hall: amount and due date: $70, June 1, 2012

JUNE Program Session II: Dates: Tues, June 19 – Saturday, June 23

  • Program is for: Maine string players and pianists 12-19 years of age; advanced-intermediate to advanced playing and reading skills level
  • Application fee: $25
  • Program fee: $150
  • Total money due Kneisel Hall: amount and due date: $175 due June 1, 2012
