In addition to being its namesake, Franz Kneisel’s passion for chamber music is the heart and soul of Kneisel Hall.
Kneisel Hall offers three distinct programs for music students, young professional artists, and adult life-long learners.
Kneisel Hall Chamber Music Festival will return in 2023 with the best of chamber music. Mark your calendars from June 30 to August 27, 2023. We look forward to sharing a full slate of Friday and Sunday concerts, Open Rehearsals, Masterclasses, and the ever popular Young Artist Concert series. Dear friends,
Kneisel Hall Week 3 Virtual Concert features a poetic and evocative program of Beethoven, Debussy, Franck, and American composer Jeffrey Mumford.
Tune in to our YouTube channel at 7:30pm EDT starting Saturday, July 24 to listen. The concert stream will be available on YouTube for one week.
Our Young Artists were lucky to have Jeffrey Mumford join us via Zoom last week, for an insightful and inspiring workshop on his music and his creative process. Even from a distance, his profound and deeply personal connection to music was palpable.
We hope that his 2012 piece eight aspects of appreciation II offers you a memorable experience as well!
